Key responsibilities:

  • Providing person-centred, day-to-day support, delivering 1:1, paired and small group teaching, and pupil sessions.
  • Supervise and support our pupils to engage in community-based learning and educational visits.
  • Use your creativity daily to support lesson plans through preparing materials and resources.
  • Support our pupils to develop crucial life skills, meet their goals and aspirations through communication, independence and participation.

Skills & experience:

  • Experience of working in a similar setting and role.
  • Experience with working within an educational environment providing academic or personal care support.
  • Experience with providing/willingness to provide personal care support to individuals with high needs (e.g. peg feeding, toileting, changing etc.).
  • Available to interview immediately.
  • Right to Work & Enhanced Adult/Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or on the update service.
