Somerset Education Alliance are a supply teacher employment business in its 10th year of establishment actively recruiting Secondary School Teachers (ECTs or experienced), to join our friendly, supportive and busy agency.
Please note: Our daily pay rate for teachers as a supply teacher recruitment business starts at £120 but can be negotiated up to £200 based on experience, pay scale and additional responsibilities, and is ultimately at the discretion of school budgets.
Supply Teacher Responsibilities
- Delivering cover lessons
- Preparing planning
- Following safeguarding and school policies

Supply Teacher Essentials
- QTS or ECT status (applications from other teaching backgrounds also welcome)
- A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)
- A 3 year minimum reference history
- Up to date knowledge of the curriculum
