Our client builds world-class, high-performance and lightweight sports cars that are sold all around the world. They are looking for a Senior Engineer – Motorsport Customer Support (Electronics) in the Attributes Department to join them in their manufacturing plant based in Hethel.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated customer-facing Track Support Engineer to join our client at their Hethel base and trackside at international race events. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be a key contributor to the track-side operation.

• As a customer-facing representative of the company, the successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, engaging confidently and knowledgeably.
• A self-starter who is highly motivated, well-organised, and demonstrates a positive growth mindset.
• Extensive travel to International and/or European events will be required.
• Between track events, the role will include all aspects of project support onsite at the company’s Hethel facility.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in a similar role at a professional motorsport level.
• Proficient with engine electronic systems, calibration, sensors, and wiring.
• Experience with professional engine management software, such as Motec McLaren, Magneti Marelli, Cosworth/Pectel, Life Racing, etc.
• High competence level with PC and typical software – MS Office (particularly Excel), Matlab, etc.
• Customer-facing skills and excellent organisation skills.
