Mechanical Fitter Location: Liverpool Salary: £35,000-£42,000 Hours: Monday – Thursday Join a growing Mechanical Assembly team for a gloabal specialist in their field to work on projects from mechanical handover through to completion, including occasional installations at client sites. You’ll be responsible for assembling and fitting mechanical components for bespoke process equipment, including pressure vessels and rotating equipment like agitators, gearboxes, and motors. Experience with hydraulic systems is a plus. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage mechanical build documentation. Assemble and fit mechanical components with tight tolerances. Collaborate with a multi-skilled team and Electrical/Control engineers. Resolve issues related to fit, function, or design with engineering. Inspect mechanical parts, main fabrications, and pressure vessels at supplier facilities. Ensure safety and health standards are met. Report non-conformances via quality systems.
