Brief overview of the role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us at our Accrington, Desford, Hams Hall, Measham, Newbury & Whittlesey sites in the position of Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineering Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunitywith yearly salary increases, to work towards becoming a fully skilled engineer at one of the UKs leading building material manufacturers.

Apprenticeship summary

• Working week-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Annual Salary-£20,800 per annum
• Expected duration-48 months
• Start date-1stSeptember 2025
• Apprenticeship level-AdvancedLevel Apprenticeship

Vacancy description

The Role includes but is not limited to:

• Ensuring the efficient and safe working of the plant by utilising the skills taught during your training
• Carrying out preventative maintenance daily and installation of new equipment as required
• Responding to and acting upon the fault report system

Things to consider

• Salary will be reviewed throughout apprenticeship
• Shift work may be required on completion of the apprenticeship
• The first year of the apprenticeship includes residential training in Birmingham.
