CBW is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established FM company on a mobile basis. This role covers Aberdeen and the surrounding areas, providing maintenance, servicing, and repairs across a range of commercial buildings. Key Responsibilities
- Perform planned maintenance, servicing, and reactive repairs on a variety of commercial gas systems.
- Maintain and repair gas appliances, including boilers, heating systems, and ventilation equipment.
- Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring strong relationships with clients.
- Accurately diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs efficiently.
- Complete electrical wiring of commercial boilers.
- Self-deliver smaller installations and upgrade works where required.
- Use handheld technology to update work records and job completion reports.
- Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety regulations and company standards.
Person Specification:
- Commercial GasSafe qualifications (COCN1/CODNCO1 minimum).
- Strong commercial gas maintenance knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Ability to fault-find, test, and repair various systems, including boilers, ventilation, pumps, generators, switchgear, batteries, and small power/lighting systems.
- Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Extensive experience working within commercial environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
