Job Description

Sitting within our Business Services Team and supporting the Services Function Manager. This role is key in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing administrative and operational support to enable the team to deliver excellent service. Candidates should be able to work under pressure, be organised and have good attention to detail.

This role is a permanent, full time Monday to Friday, 3 days a week in the office.

Your role will involve

  1. Prepare and take minutes, tracking actions on behalf of senior managers, team members, steering committees, and governance groups.
  2. Monitor and report on various functional databases and other applications, including reporting formats.
  3. Support the team in preparing documentation such as PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, organization charts using Microsoft/Visio/other applications.
  4. Organize meetings and events, preparing agendas, collating, and circulating documents in a timely manner.
  5. Track actions on behalf of senior managers, team members, steering committees, and governance groups.

These Skills Are Essential

  1. Proven ability on business software applications (Microsoft Word, presentation, and spreadsheet; internal applications; and other applications).
  2. Ability to prioritize a demanding workload and changing deliverables.
  3. High level of customer focus and service.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  5. Responsive to organizational changes and ability to adapt accordingly.

Working Location

Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
