SANZA Teaching Agency are seeking an SEN teaching assistant who is experienced with British Sign Language to join a wonderful special needs school in Ealing. The role will be working in a phase one class. The candidate will need to have some form of British Sign Language qualification.
You will be required to fulfil general SEN teaching assistant and learning support responsibilities throughout the day and support students as required. There is a student who is hearing impaired, so you will need to be able to support their communication and learning through British Sign Language.
About the school: The school caters to students aged from Reception to Year 14 who have moderate to severe and complex learning difficulties as a primary need or as a dual diagnosis to their medical, sensory and/or physical needs. The school prides itself on a warm and supportive staff environment where teachers always work in collaboration and as a team. The school is an innovative and fun place for students to learn and thrive in a safe and supportive environment, where independence is prioritised. The school also has a fabulous SEMH team, and behaviour mentors.
