Print Finisher / Folding Operator | Leicester £Negotiable depending on experience Monday-Friday – Shifts 6am – 1.30pm or 1:30pm – 9pm Aim Search are partnered with a fantastic Direct Mailing manufactuer based in Leicester who are recruiting experienced Production staff to join their friendly team. This Print Finisher opportunity will require an operator to work on Stahl Folders, Primary purpose of this role is to set up, adjust, safely Operate and maintain programmable and non-programmable folders. While folding the Folder Operator will ensure that each product meets job instruction specification. You must also know how to operate and programme a Polar Guillotine About the Print Finisher opportunity: * Set up and operate Stahl folders including manual, automated positioning by performing necessary calculations * Set up and operate a Polar Guillotine. * Monitor assigned machine to ensure adherence to specifications and make adjustments as needed to maintain specification and operating speed * Troubleshoot Machine problems, resolve if possible, notify shop floor manager * Perform Quality checks and stack finished products according to job specification * Record production data with accuracy on to company timesheets * Run Equipment at optimal level at all times to meet job target dates About the successful Print Finisher: * 2 years plus experience on a Stahl Folder and Polar Guillotine. * Good communication skills * Strong visual skills with an eye for detail * A good strong team ethic and willingness to ‘pitch in’ whenever necessary. * This is a physical job which requires a certain degree of physical fitness. * Guarantee their own work is to the highest standard. * Show commitment to good Health & Safety practice.
