About You - The Superstar!

To excel in this role, you'll bring a degree qualification in a relevant discipline and hold membership with a professional institute such as RICS, CIOB, or APM. You'll have substantial experience in the buildings sector, ideally including healthcare, residential, mixed-use, and leisure. A background in both JCT and NEC contract administration is essential, and experience managing large-scale and complex projects is a must. You're someone who thrives on delivering successful outcomes and can manage multiple stakeholders, balancing client needs and project priorities. In addition to your technical expertise, you'll have exceptional leadership abilities, a track record of building strong client relationships, and a collaborative approach to project delivery. Digital proficiency and a keen understanding of project management software will set you apart.

Lead the Way - Your Day-to-Day Role

As a Senior Project Manager, Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Leading all phases of new-build and refurbishment schemes from inception through to completion.
• Conducting feasibility studies, managing budgets, and ensuring capital schemes are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
• Ensuring projects are compliant with all relevant legislation, regulations, and guidance.
• Leading stakeholder engagement, including managing user group requirements and translating them into clear project briefs.
• Collaborating with external consultants and internal teams to meet project objectives and deadlines.
• Producing project execution plans and detailed critical path programs.
• Overseeing the procurement of consultants and contractors, managing contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of services.
• Establishing robust project governance, processes, and systems to ensure transparency and efficiency.
• Leading change control processes, managing project information flow, and mitigating risks.
• Producing high-level project progress reports and ensuring senior stakeholders are kept informed.
• Assisting in the development of business cases for significant capital investment projects.
