ABOUT THE ROLE:
WE ARE SEEKING AN INNOVATIVE AND DETAIL-ORIENTED EXPERIENCE DESIGNER TO LEAD THE CREATION OF MEMORABLE PACKAGING, MAILER, AND UNBOXING EXPERIENCES. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL TRANSFORM ORDINARY SHIPPING PROCESSES INTO ENGAGING BRAND EXPERIENCES THAT DELIGHT CUSTOMERS AND ENHANCE OVERALL BRAND PERCEPTION. YOU WILL COLLABORATE ACROSS DESIGN AND PRODUCTION TEAMS TO ENSURE EVERY PACKAGE TELLS A COMPELLING BRAND STORY FROM THE MOMENT IT LEAVES THE WAREHOUSE TO THE FINAL UNBOXING MOMENT.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT: IDEATE AND DEVELOP CREATIVE PACKAGING AND MAILER CONCEPTS THAT ALIGN WITH BRAND IDENTITY AND MARKETING STRATEGIES THROUGH BEAUTIFUL PRESENTATIONS. TRANSFORM THE UNBOXING PROCESS INTO AN EXPERIENTIAL JOURNEY THAT ENGAGES AND SURPRISES RECIPIENTS.
- GRAPHIC / GENERAL DESIGN & PROTOTYPING: CREATE DETAILED DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS AND PROTOTYPES FOR PACKAGING, ENSURING BOTH AESTHETIC APPEAL AND FUNCTIONAL EXCELLENCE. USE YOUR GRAPHIC DESIGN EXPERTISE TO MERGE VISUAL CREATIVITY WITH PRINTING AND PRODUCTION FEASIBILITY.
- COLLABORATION & PROJECT MANAGEMENT: WORK CLOSELY WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS (PRODUCT DESIGN, PRODUCTION, AND SUPPLY CHAIN) TO ENSURE COHESIVE EXECUTION, IN LINE WITH CREATIVE VISION AND BUDGETS. MANAGE TIMELINES AND SUPPLIER RELATIONSHIPS TO DELIVER HIGH-QUALITY PROJECTS ON SCHEDULE.
- CLIENT EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY INSIGHT: BE IMMERSED IN INDUSTRY AND CULTURAL TRENDS, TO CONTINUOUSLY IMPROVE OUR APPROACH TO INNOVATIVE DESIGNS THAT STAY AHEAD OF THE CURVE. UTILISE CLIENT FEEDBACK AND CAMPAIGN SUCCESS METRICS TO INFORM SUCCESSFUL DESIGN STRATEGIES AND STORYTELLING.
- SUSTAINABILITY & COMPLIANCE: INCORPORATE SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS AND PRACTICES INTO PACKAGING DESIGN WHEREVER POSSIBLE. ENSURE ALL DESIGNS MEET INDUSTRY REGULATIONS, SAFETY STANDARDS, AND ENVIRONMENTAL GUIDELINES.
- PRESENTATION & STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATION: PRESENT DESIGN CONCEPTS AND PROTOTYPES TO INTERNAL TEAMS AND KEY STAKEHOLDERS. ARTICULATE THE DESIGN VISION, STRATEGY, AND EXPECTED IMPACT ON RECIPIENT EXPERIENCE AND CLIENT SATISFACTION.
REQUIREMENTS
- BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN GRAPHIC DESIGN, VISUAL ARTS, OR A RELATED FIELD.
- PROFICIENCY IN DESIGN SOFTWARE (E.G., ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE - PHOTOSHOP, ILLUSTRATOR).
- A STRONG PORTFOLIO SHOWCASING A RANGE OF DESIGN PROJECTS, INCLUDING PACKAGING AND PRODUCT DESIGN.
- UNDERSTANDING OF THE INFLUENCER MARKETING LANDSCAPE, WITH INSIGHT INTO THE POWER OF STORYTELLING TO CREATE AN IMPACTFUL UNBOXING EXPERIENCE.
