A 9 month contract with an ASAP start for a Moodle Learning Technologist. This role is remote and involves working with an acclaimed client in the higher education space, known for their leadership in global league tables for specialist subject area research.

The successful post holder will be responsible for:

  • Managing and maintaining the Moodle VLE
  • Providing first line support for user queries related to the platform
  • Troubleshooting issues and managing platform functionality
  • Collaborating with technology-focused team members for platform alterations
  • Contributing to the course build process
  • Assisting staff and students with training on Moodle and other tools
  • Promoting the use of these tools across departments and faculties

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience managing Moodle to a high level
  • Excellent knowledge of front end development tools such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Understanding of accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
  • Experience designing and developing courses on Moodle and collaborating with subject matter experts and technical teams
