This Billing Coordinator position will be supporting the London-based finance team with day to day billings on a 15 month fixed term contract, covering maternity leave.

My client are an international law firm, who are highly respected globally. They are looking for an experienced Legal Biller, who is confident liaising with partners, fee earners, high-level clients and hitting the ground running.
Description
- Billing Management: Oversee billing meetings, ensure new matters align with client agreements, and handle finance reviews. Prepare, amend, authorize, finalize, and email bills, ensuring they adhere to client agreements and firm processes.
- Support & Coordination: Provide day-to-day billing support to Partners, chase outstanding drafts and timesheets, and interact with Partners, Fee Earners, and Practice Assistants. Work with the offshore team on specific tasks.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Run and review client-specific reports, including draft bills, pre-bill time, and financials. Assist with billing forecasts and ensure timely delivery of bills, including e-bills and PDFs.
- Matter & Data Maintenance: Update matter details in Intapp (e.g., phases, rates, billing addresses) and handle time/cost transfers and write-offs per firm policy. Maintain client-specific information and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Escalation & Problem-Solving: Escalate issues to the Assistant Billing Manager, delegate tasks to Billing Assistants as needed, and assist with identifying client reporting requirements. Handle ad-hoc queries and resolve billing issues efficiently.
Profile
The successful Billing Coordinator should have:
- Previous billing / revenue experience within a law firm
- Previous experience managing and communicating with high level partners and fee-earners
- Experience using billing and accounting systems
- Experience with excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly
Job Offer
£45,000 - £55,000 salary
