Testing business analyst

Using a methodical approach, you\’ll analyse business needs, identify opportunities for enhancement, and support the delivery of impactful change. Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to drive process improvements, engagement, and business change. Lead the analysis, design, and optimisation of end-to-end business processes, ensuring that all areas are effectively aligned with business goals. Conduct workshops and meetings with stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, assess communication needs, identify change impacts, and define training requirements. Requirements Analysis: Work with business subject matter experts to analyse and define both functional and non-functional requirements for various business processes. Data Modelling & Insights: Utilize data modelling techniques to extract meaningful business insights and trends to support informed decision-making. Design Specifications: Translate business requirements into clear design specifications and functional documentation for implementation teams. Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform various types of testing including integration, functional, system, regression, usability, and more to ensure software quality. Conduct initial investigations into defects found during testing phases, prepare structured findings, and collaborate with the technical team for resolution. Data Management for Testing: Create and manage data sets for use in testing activities, ensuring they are appropriate and effective. Experience of software development lifecycles. Detail orientated capable of delivering accurate and high-quality work. Assist in developing and executing project plans. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business, Information Systems, or similar. ~5+ years as an IT Business Analyst and across all software development lifecycle phases. ~ Familiarity with Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence) and Agile methodologies. ~ Experience with SQL and AWS stack. ~ Business Analysis Framework (e.g., BCS/ISEB Diploma) and Agile Project Management experience.
