Job description

As a Marine Broker, having full time home working flexibility would be massively attractive. Maybe your priorities in your life/career have changed? The bright lights of the London/Lloyd\’s market along with the inevitable liquid lunches just doesn\’t interest you any more.

Just think, more time with your children/family in the evenings. You\’ll be able to switch off from work earlier in the day and gain a much better work home balance. You can even work in your garden if you like!

You have a strong Hull & Machinery background, and possibly some P&I and War exposure too.

IDEX Consulting are heading up a unique (And rare) opportunity for a Broker to join a specialist Marine Independent Broker in London to help run a portfolio of P&I, War and H&M business emanating from Europe.

You will be responsible for looking after existing and new business as it comes through, placing risks into the company market and/or Lloyds. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with both direct clients and producing brokers.

Although not a pre-requiste, if you still wished to get involved in new business and travel internationally, this is an option.

We are ideally looking for individauls with experience placing Marine European business, in particular risks from Greece.

The role will pay up to £70, and comes with private health-care, 25 days holiday and full time working from home.

We are able to consider individuals anywhere in the UK, even those living abroad (Europe)

Opportunities of this nature genuinely do not come up often, if you would like to enquire for more information please
