Our client is a leading market maker with deep connections to the top crypto exchanges and providing liquidity to the best projects. They are seeking a Portfolio Manager with an interest in electronic market-making, systematic environments, and derivatives.
As a Portfolio Manager, your responsibilities will involve:
- Analyzing historical data to assess portfolio risks and opportunities.
- Identifying market challenges and conducting due diligence for new and existing projects.
- Continuously adjusting and optimizing the portfolio based on market conditions.
- Providing insights on the financial world's direction and how to stay ahead.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Analyse historical data to understand the risks and opportunities of our portfolio.
- Identify challenges in the market and determine which data sets will help to prove one or more solution efficiency.
- Analyse our historic data and implement trading system efficiency improvements.
- Conduct thorough due diligence for new and existing projects in the market, accurately predicting their potential risks, rewards, and overall potential.
- Continuously adapt and optimize our portfolio based on changing market conditions to ensure maximum returns and minimize risks.
Requirements
- Must-Have Degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a well-established HFT/investment bank/quantitative firm/Crypto Exchange.
- 5+ years of experience as a Portfolio Manager.
- A strong knowledge and passion for cryptocurrencies and DeFi.
- A strong and provable track record.
- Must have an owner mentality.
- Have a strong opinion on where the financial world is going and what should be done to be ahead of others.
- Outstanding analytical skills: You should be able to make the best choice and measure it in terms of probabilities and expected value.
- Must be capable of communicating in English.
- Must be comfortable working remotely.
