A message from our CEO: At Quilter Cheviot, we are committed to creating the opportunity for colleagues to build long and successful careers. Having personally joined this business as a trainee over 30 years ago, I am particularly pleased to introduce our 2025 Quilter Cheviot Early Careers Programme, now in its third year, which will provide committed and talented individuals from all backgrounds the chance to break into the wealth management industry.

Our objective is to help you develop the skills, knowledge, and connections you need to succeed in this field; and for you to introduce fresh perspectives and diversity of thought and ideas to our business. We are committed to providing our interns with meaningful work, mentorship from our experienced team, and a supportive and inclusive workplace.

About the Role

Contract: Fixed Term Contract 12 months

Department: Investment Management

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Over the course of the programme, you will have the opportunity to rotate through three core departments, providing you with a well-rounded understanding of the company and its activities.

The 12-month fixed term contract will be located at our headquarters in London; however, upon successful completion of the programme, you may be offered a position within one of our front office teams, nationwide.

Providing overall support to our Research teams, responsibilities include assisting with stock and fund analysis and supervised stock and fund research, developing and distributing research material and presentations, and ad-hoc administrative duties.

Operations – responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our operations across a wide range of specialist areas, including trade processing and settlements, revenue management, account opening, valuations, records, CASS governance, custody (processing client joiners and leavers), ISA administration, dividends, corporate actions, operational tax, MPS administration, and cashiering.
