Are you a Senior Cost Manager looking to work on building projects that can change the world? If so, we are looking for a Cost Manager to join our team in London.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide full suite of Cost Management duties to AECOM clients.
- Support and lead Cost Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
- Provide effective support and mentoring to Graduates and Apprentices.
- Ensures commissions are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
- Develops strong reciprocal relationships with clients and members of the project team.
- Be the primary interface with AECOM clients (new and existing).
- Ensure all staff members reporting to you have current and relevant training.
- Delivery of cost management outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience in a consulting environment providing the full spectrum of CM services including Pre-Contract Estimating; Procurement; Contract Administration, Cost Reporting and Final Account resolution.
- Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation.
- Excellent IT Skills and the ability to utilise digital measurement, cost planning and tender document tools shall be essential.
- Understanding of a variety of project types/sizes/sectors. Residential and/or Commercial/Mixed-Use sector experience would be advantageous.
- Able to work under own initiative where appropriate working closely with the Senior Cost Managers and Associates in the delivery of some of our projects.
Qualifications:
- Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management.
- Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution.
