An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join an incredibly successful fashion supplier who are expanding their team and seeking a talented and innovative Designer across baby & childrenswear. With a strong focus on licensed graphics, you'll play a pivotal role in designing fashion-forward commercial collections that resonate with the target market. Based in the heart of London's West End, this is a fantastic opportunity to be working alongside the Sales and Design Director in a creative and fast-paced environment. This role offers a unique opportunity for career growth and development to be part of an exciting sourcing and design office.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Design and develop innovative babywear & childrenswear ranges for customers
  • Create and present trend-led designs, mood boards, colour palettes, and trend boards
  • Produce detailed technical packs to ensure first-time sample accuracy
  • Conduct trend research and analysis, staying ahead of colour, print, and fabric trends
  • Identify and adapt to the identity and handwriting of key retail partners
  • Sourcing of new fabrics and trims

Person specification:

  • Proven experience in babywear and/or childrenswear design, with a strong portfolio showcasing licensed graphics
  • Strong presentation skills, confident in showcasing ideas to both internal teams and buyers
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for design development
  • Highly organised, enthusiastic, and motivated
  • A commercial mindset with great attention to detail
