Data Lead – Zenith
Location: Cheltenham, UK (Hybrid working)

Role Overview:
As a significant member of our Zenith programme, the Data Lead will be responsible for the design & delivery of our global data strategy. Scaling our Data, Development and AI services are key and we are looking for a dynamic leader to take ownership of this exciting journey.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…
- Helping the business to grow through delivery of cutting-edge solutions across the Microsoft technology stack, including Azure Data Factory, Data Warehouse, Synapse, Fabric and PowerBI
- Leading and mentoring a team of data engineers, developers and analysts
- Fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture while working cross-functionally with other teams to implement technical design for migration projects
- Providing clear expectations and goals for the team and acting as a technical leader to guide the team in selecting appropriate technologies and methodologies for client solutions
- Responsibility for model design and implementation within our Zenith programme and “business as usual” processes
- Driving continuous improvement in development processes and best practices
- Identifying and exploiting opportunities for AI/ML to enhance business processes or discover potential growth areas
- Converting our Data Strategy into project deliverables, which in turn meets our global business data principles and model
Your previous experience is likely to include….
- Working with Dynamics 365 related Data Models (Contoso/Vanilla) & best practice Data Models for ERP and associated systems
- Proven experience in developing relational and dimensional data models
- Proven experience of NoSQL schemas and query-first data modelling
- Industry experience relevant to the ERP projects
