Are you an experienced Meetings and Events, Conference and Banqueting or Hospitality Manager within the Hotel or Contract Catering Sectors? THE JOB: Coordination of all aspects of Hospitality and Event Management including catering, staffing and logistics. Ensure the site provides consistent and high-quality service for all event attendees and delegates. Hands on and delegative management of the even set up and execution. Client liaison to ensure a good understanding or all requirements. Working closely with external vendors as well as internal teams to ensure smooth operation. Monitor event budgets to ensure cost control. Oversee, train and motivate the events team. IDEAL CANDIDATE: Min. 1 year experience at management or 2 years of a supervisory experience of running high-end meetings and events within Contract Catering or Hotel Sectors. Strong knowledge of meeting and event basics including set ups, operations, forward planning as well as client liaisons. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with high-profile attendees and team members. Ability to engage with both the team as well as the guests.
