Business Development Manager – £80k Basic + Competitive Package

My client is on an exciting growth trajectory, with a turnover of £150m and ambitious plans to reach £200m. As the recently awarded UK Security Company of the Year , we are seeking a high-caliber Business Development Manager (BDD) to join our team.

This is not just another sales role – we are looking for true hunters who can drive new business, build strong relationships, and contribute to our long-term success.

Key Requirements:

1. Stable Career History – We value commitment and proven success. If you’ve worked for 4-5 companies in the last decade, we’ll want to understand why. We don’t want to be just another name on your CV.
2. New Business Hungry – The right candidate must be a proactive door-opener, not just someone who waits for tenders to land. We know that strong client relationships drive success, and our 97% retention rate speaks for itself.
3. Geographic Focus – Candidates must be located within the Liverpool – Leeds – Eurotunnel triangle , as 90% of our business operates in this region.
4. Bid & Tender Experience – While you’ll have some bid management support, you must be confident in writing tenders and working independently.

We are open to rising stars with slightly less experience, provided they have a stable background and a clear track record of winning new business.
