The company specializes in property maintenance, installation, and servicing of gas central heating and hot water services to private, commercial landlords, and industrial property owners. This is an opportunity to join them as a domestic gas engineer working in the SW2 area, SW, and CR postcodes.
Overview of Role: As part of a heating maintenance team, the post holder will be expected to provide a comprehensive repairs and maintenance service to domestic heating installations and appliances in client properties. You will be able to analyze, fault find, and carry out repairs and services in a professional manner and to a high standard in compliance with current regulations and legislation.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- QUALIFICATIONS: ACS qualifications - minimum of CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, (CENWAT), CKR1, HTR1 & CPA1. Desirable: Energy Efficiency, DAH1, Unvented Hot Water, WRAS (Water Supply Regulations 1999).
- HEALTH & SAFETY: Certificate of Asbestos Awareness Training. Desirable: Certificate of Training Achievement for Working at Height, Manual Handling, First Aid (1-Day), or other.
- EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years experience, previous experience in diagnosing faults on domestic gas central heating systems.
- KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS: Full driving licence, excellent communication skills, able to work alone and within a team, keeping up to date technically and applying new knowledge to your role.
