Scope of Work As Executive Chef, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them. I will safeguard these pillars through strategic planning and development, ensuring all directives, practices, and initiatives are implemented, embraced, and adopted within the hotel. Duties and Responsibilities As Executive Chef, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the culinary department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. The duties include: Focusing on the rejuvenation of the culinary experience, monitoring food and material waste, and liaising with gardeners for efficient waste removal and composting. Growing or sourcing our own produce and featuring it in our culinary offerings. Implementing wellness and nutrition initiatives throughout the operation, with a focus on producing our own products. Establishing purchasing practices aligned with Six Senses\’ nutrition and sustainability platforms. Regularly assessing menus and wine lists to stay relevant and aligned with Eat With Six Senses practices. Instilling a cost-focused philosophy through training and education. Achieving financial targets related to revenue, profitability, and ROIC. Ensuring departmental operations comply with legal, statutory, and financial requirements, including safety protocols, reporting systems, contractual obligations, and budget controls. Qualifications To succeed as an Executive Chef, the candidate must have: A Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience, including management roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Fluency in English; additional languages are preferred. Alcohol awareness certification, food service permit, or valid health/food handler card as required by local authorities.
