- Salary from £44,428 to £48,474 per annum
- Full-time – 37 hours a week
- Hybrid / Flexible working

This exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Legal Services team at Sheffield City Council as a Commercial Lawyer. The team operates in a fast-paced environment providing legal advice in relation to a full range of commercial matters relevant to local authorities, including contract, procurement and subsidy control, and is heavily involved in much high profile work including the dynamic redevelopment of the city.
The Successful Candidate Will
- Be responsible for providing authoritative advice to the Councils Officers and Members, ensuring that decisions are lawful.
- Manage their own caseload, which will include complex and interesting areas of law.
For The Role, You Would Need To Have
- Recognised Legal qualification (Solicitor, Barrister or FCILEX)
- Understanding of legal case management systems and process knowledge
- Technical knowledge in the specialist area of Commercial Law
