About the Role
SGX FX is seeking a bright and motivated person to join our Integration team in London as an Integration, client onboarding and higher-level support specialist. This role is suitable for a new graduate or a candidate early in their career.
Responsibilities
- Setting up our buy-side clients to trade a variety of FX deal types with liquidity providers and assisting the team with support inquiries from clients and the Sales/Account Management team.
- Working with development to help design solutions and fixes where required.
- Opportunity to work with and pick up a variety of technical skills including XML/ATDL, SQL, Groovy, TCP/IP, SSL encryption, REST, and C#/C++/Python/Java Trading/Pricing APIs.
Qualifications
- Ideally a degree in a STEM subject (Engineering/Maths/Science etc.) or Computer Science.
Required Skills
- Any experience using FIX protocol beneficial.
- Basic Linux/Unix skills.
- Basic understanding of networking/connectivity concepts.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proven analytical problem-solving skills.
- An interest in learning new technical skills across various disciplines.
- A keen interest in finance; experience in FX or another relevant asset class (Equities/Futures/Options/Fixed Income) is useful.
- Right to work in the UK without requiring UK visa sponsorship.
