twentyAI are partnering with a leading private bank that is seeking a talented Data Management Analyst to join their Chief Data Office. This prestigious organisation has a long-standing reputation for delivering bespoke financial solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families. As part of their continued investment in data excellence, they are looking for an experienced professional to help drive their data governance and management initiatives.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, security, and usability of data across the bank. Working closely with key internal stakeholders, the Data Management Analyst will implement data governance frameworks, enhance data quality, and support the bank's ongoing digital transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Collaborate with business units to define data quality metrics and ensure ongoing monitoring and reporting.
- Support the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and data catalogs.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues by conducting root cause analysis and implementing remediation plans.
- Assist in data lifecycle management, including classification, retention, and disposal strategies.
- Facilitate data governance forums and provide clear communication to stakeholders on data governance initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert on data management best practices and provide training to teams.
- Work with IT and risk teams to ensure data security, privacy, and alignment with GDPR and other data protection regulations.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in data governance, data management, or a similar role, ideally within the financial services or private banking sector.
- Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK) and data quality management principles.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar.
- Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation) and data analysis tools.
- Proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
