Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced OCP Engineer to support the deployment, configuration, and administration of OpenShift platforms within a leading financial services organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing security controls, logging components, and automation processes within the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, upgrade, and patch OpenShift logging components.
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and administer security-related components, including RBAC and secrets management.
  • Architect OpenShift platforms, including the creation of high-level and low-level design documentation.
  • Perform general Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration to support OpenShift infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with financial services security standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift (OCP), including deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Experience in RBAC configuration, secrets management, and security hardening.
  • Expertise in log management and monitoring within OpenShift environments.
  • Strong understanding of RHEL administration.
  • Proficiency in Scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Ability to produce technical documentation for architecture and operational procedures.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of additional DevOps tools and methodologies.
