Are you a part or fully qualified Management Accountant and immediately available for an exciting assignment? I am looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join one of my entertainment providers immediately for initially 3 months. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to gain experience within the technology department of this client.
As the new Assistant Management Accountant, you will:
- Assist Finance Manager with preparing the forecasts and budgets.
- Prepay monthly technical support contracts and update schedules at month end.
- Assist with monthly commentary explaining any increases or decreases in expected costs against budget/forecast.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for prepayments and accruals monthly and present the material changes on a quarterly basis at review meetings.
- Assist with fixed asset register preparation for year-end audit.
- Responsible for creating new capex codes, updating the capital planner, and attending capex meetings with clients.
- Liaise with Technology heads on support contract invoices.
- Assist with preparing allocation matrix for percentage splits of overhead costs every quarter.
- Review Technology freelance cost sheets, and ensure coverage related shifts are charged to Newsrooms/Productions.
- Capitalise IT Projects' engineering time dedicated to capex projects using their timecards.
What I am looking for:
- Part qualified accountant with previous management accountant experience.
- Bachelor's degree, studying towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Excellent analytical and deductive skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work.
- Ability to communicate effectively to key stakeholders.
- Strong Excel Skills.
