We are looking for a motivated actuarial analyst or a part-qualified actuary to join our team. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong analytical skills.

About the Role

  • Analyse business performance of open portfolios
  • Support the maintenance of our costing basis
  • Build and develop models and tools to assist with costing processes
  • Support the pricing process, modelling new products and scenarios and helping prepare auditable documentation
  • Assist the production of existing business profitability reviews and portfolio analysis
  • Monitor existing business and the wider market
  • Work with the wider team on ad-hoc analytical/data projects
  • Test new systems and products

We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment. You’ll be enthusiastic about working with international, multi-cultural teams and comfortable managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities. A collaborative and positive team player, you’ll work both independently and virtually while being quick to learn complex processes and projects. We expect you to:

  • Hold graduate level qualifications in a numerical and analytical field or otherwise demonstrate strong skills in these areas
  • Have a clear interest in, and understanding of, the life & health insurance market
  • Be proficient in MS Excel
  • Have some professional experience gained in an analytical role
  • Demonstrate accuracy and commitment to quality
  • Show integrity and consumer awareness
