Join A-SAFE and kick-start your journey as a key player in our finance team! The Opportunity The Junior Finance Business Partner to work closely with the Marketing, Digital and R&D departments. In this role, you will assist the FBP in providing key financial insights, analysis, and guidance to enable the department heads to make informed decisions, drive business performance, and achieve their objectives. Departments include: Marketing & Product R&D Product R&D Software R&D Technology Digital Support/Deployment IT Business Software Key Accountabilities •Assist in the collaboration with Marketing, Digital and R&D department heads to understand their strategic objectives and provide financial insights that support decision-making. Establish strong relationships to influence key business decisions and drive value across the departments. •Assist with the budgeting, forecasting, run rates and long-term planning processes for your departments. Help to provide actionable analysis and insights to support cost management, investment decisions, and performance tracking. •Develop and help manage detailed sub-budgets for exhibitions, trade shows, and marketing events, ensuring that costs are controlled and aligned with strategic goals. •Understand and assist with the budgeting process for new product development, ensuring that the costs associated with product innovations are accurately forecasted, tracked, and aligned with the overall R&D and marketing strategies. •Assist in Identifying areas of cost inefficiency and suggest opportunities for process improvements. Monitor department expenditure and ensure financial targets are met while maintaining quality and innovation. •Help to improve and develop financial models to evaluate return on investments, new product launches, and marketing campaigns. •Ensure accurate and timely month-end close for the departments, including reviewing and analysing variances against budget and forecasts. •Control, Manage & Forecast capex spend relating to your departments •Assist with New Product Development/Launch: Model the margin, assist with pricing & forecast a P&L for all new product lines. Assist with building this into the overall business plan. •Other Ad-Hoc deliverables About you Essential •Relevant qualification (AAT/Degree) •Commercial minded •Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel •Willingness to try new things, innovative & pioneering approach. •Enthusiastic team player – able to build constructive relationships with key stakeholders. •Can work independently as well as part of a team. •Organised & Deadline Driven •Adaptable to change and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
