Our award-winning and high-growth client is looking to hire an Associate Director to work across corporate communications and public affairs.
Responsibilities include:
- Playing the leading role in presenting to clients with the ability to influence and push back when needed
- Directing teams, creating a collaborative team environment, and driving execution on accounts
- Demonstrating understanding of client’s business and knowledge of communications strategies
- Leading on developing communications strategies for the year, including digital strategies
- Mentoring juniors and providing constructive feedback
- Leading on pitch document creation process and participating in external pitch meetings
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- A background working in a political or policy environment, who can help clients navigate difficult political and policy issues from a communications point of view
- A strong media handler and communications strategist, with a media network of their own
- Corporate communications, press office, or campaigning and issues management expertise
