Astute’s Renewable’s team is partnering with a business whose focus is to drive the country forward with their wide range of renewable energy technologies. They are looking to recruit a Site Manager to cover their sites in the Kent region. The important role of the Site Manager comes with a salary of up to £65,000 and a competitive benefits package on top. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Reporting to the Project Manager you will supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the work site, from construction, installation, commissioning and maintenance tasks.
  • Complete site inspections to ensure safety compliance and environmental impact.
  • Oversee the health and safety of staff on site.
  • Draft and prepare reports for both the construction and client, to track progress.
  • Maintain a variety of logs, including incident and progress.

Professional Qualifications

  • An up-to-date Site Management Safety Scheme (SMSTS).
  • An up-to-date Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
  • PRINCE2 or Project Management Professional (PMP) is desirable.
  • Experience with Renewable Energy Technologies, this could be Solar, EV, LED or Air Source Heat Pumps.

Personal Skills

  • An excellent communicator, even if you are in an under-pressure environment and can build relationships with various people on site.
  • A proven problem solver when working on a site.
  • Interested in a range of Renewable Energy Technologies.
  • Able to lead and motivate the on-site team.

Salary and Benefits of the Site Manager Role
