The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Our team provides data & automation infrastructure to enable commercial insights for EMEIA Sales Finance and EMEIA Sales. Our team are superusers of analytics & BI platforms (e.g. Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects, and various internal tools), databases (e.g. Dremio, Snowflake), and data science platforms (e.g. Dataiku). We help to train others and encourage adoption of these technologies in the wider EMEIA Sales Finance team.
This specific role will support data & automation solutions for teams that support the Consumer business, focusing on topics such as monobrand and multibrand retailers, telco/carriers, digital, programs, point-of-sale, and new product introductions. You will create and maintain reports, dashboards and automation solutions as needed for the topics & technologies mentioned above.
For most projects, you will manage the end-to-end solution delivery, including:
- gathering business requirements
- designing and building solutions
- managing testing, training, and rollout
For more complex projects, you will partner with IS&T and Business Process Reengineering teams on delivery. You will manage key reference data, including geo & route to market hierarchies, plus other mapping tables used in EMEIA reporting solutions. You will respond to ad-hoc requests for help, such as approving and provisioning access to reporting solutions, investigating data discrepancies, recommending appropriate tools for a given data need, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Tableau development experience.
- 1-3 years of SQL experience.
- Experience with reference data maintenance, e.g. hierarchy or mapping updates.
- Highly analytical, with ability to offer solutions-based recommendations.
- Innovative team player, with forward-thinking approach that strives for operational improvements.
- Competence in project management, e.g. ability to accurately estimate project delivery timelines and manage expectations of customers.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- Accomplished presentation skills, being able to tell your story in a structured way.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of using Python (or other scripting languages) for automation & data transformation.
- Experience managing data pipelines (e.g. extract-transform-load processes).
- Experience with AIML concepts.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (including the ability to create macros) a plus.
