Exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for determining the testing strategy, detailed planning, scripts, and testing scenarios across SIT and UAT for a major systems transformation for our financial services client.

You will also be responsible for supporting the Test Delivery Team with the management and execution of the Testing Phases of this major systems transformation project. This will include preparation for SIT and UAT, supporting key business representatives and stakeholders during UAT, liaison with the 3rd party Consultancy supplier to ensure the SIT and UAT Environments are set up, along with the management of defects identified during Testing phases, configured and operate correctly, covering daily batches and periodic processing within the environments. You will also supervise other testers' performances and guide them through the process and assist with defect management. This role is offered as a 15 month fixed term contract.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Test Analysis skills required (Test case creation, etc.)
- Proven System Testing and Regression Testing skills required
- Technical knowledge on creating and updating test artefacts for business applications
- At least 2 years experience within the insurance sector or Banking Sector in related software testing role and with an understanding of a broad range of Savings and Mortgage products.
- Computer Science/I.T. related degree desirable.
- Systematic problem solving skills and the ability to implement solutions to solve root cause of problems

Responsibilities:
- Manage technology change across the company and the Project Test Delivery Team in planning the UAT Phase(s), including the creation and management of UAT Testcases in the Testcase Management Tool.
- Assist the business stakeholders with creating and validating their Acceptance Criteria.
- Develop and oversee the SIT strategy, ensuring comprehensive test coverage across all integrations and interfaces.
- Define test scope, timelines, and entry/exit criteria while aligning with overall project goals.
- Lead the execution of SIT test cases, monitor test progress, and drive defect triaging and resolution with development teams and vendors.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and escalate critical issues impacting go-live readiness.
- Collaborate with the project team, internal SMEs, developers, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth integration testing.
- Provide regular test progress reports, highlight risks, and recommend mitigation strategies to project leadership.
- Build systems knowledge and identify the key processes that are run in Business Applications to support the UAT.
