Plastic Surgeon - Worcester

Are you a skilled and passionate Plastic Surgeon with expertise in Dermatology Surgery? Do you have a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and delivering outstanding results? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our esteemed medical team on a permanent or contract basis according to your availability. You will be required to perform a wide range of plastic surgery procedures with a focus on dermatology surgery.

We work in partnership with several NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups nationwide to provide patients with access to community services closer to their home.

About you

• Conduct patient consultations to understand their goals, assess their candidacy for surgery, and educate them on the potential risks and benefits of the procedures.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and desires, ensuring the highest level of safety and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals, such as dermatologists, oncologists, and plastic surgery colleagues, to provide multidisciplinary care and comprehensive treatment approaches.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in plastic surgery and dermatology, continuously improving your skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to all ethical, legal and regulatory guidelines governing medical practice and patient care.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE full GMC registration, MRCP or equivalent.
• A medical degree or equivalent.
• Proven track record of successful plastic surgery procedures, especially in the field of dermatology surgery.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail, empathy, and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
• A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and the desire to contribute to a dynamic and growing medical practice.

The position is subject to a successful disclosure at the appropriate level from Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and the provision of your right to work documentation.
