A FTSE-100 entertainment and gaming organisation is looking for a dynamic Public Relations Senior Manager on a 12-month maternity cover from July 2024. This is a unique, exciting opportunity to leave a lasting impact on an industry leader during a period of transformation. The role sits within the IR, Communications & ESG team and plays an integral part of the global communications, driving strategic PR initiatives to enhance corporate brand and protect reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and execute corporate communications strategy in line with the business’ strategic objectives.
- Lead the proactive global press office and drive a positive storytelling agenda to build trust and raise awareness of corporate brand.
- Identify and capitalise on opportunities for positive media coverage, thought leadership and PR opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive briefing materials for C-suite and ExCo members for media engagement.
- Manage the delivery of the corporate communications agency and collaborate with the financial communications agency on key deliverables around the financial calendar.
- Oversee the delivery of corporate campaigns including budgeting idea creation, material and asset development, project management and measuring success.
- Collaborate and build relationships with internal stakeholders including social media, internal communications and employer brand.
Key Requirements
- Deep understanding of corporate communications practices in-house or within an agency.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and agencies.
- Demonstrable project management experience, leading and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to think creatively and drive results.
- Experience in a challenging, fast-paced and high pressure environment.
- Experience working in regulated industries is desired.
