Hexagon is an innovative and responsive housing association working in partnership with a range of local authorities to meet housing needs across Southeast London. With a turnover of Β£40m and 120 staff, Hexagon is continually improving the quality and range of our affordable homes and services. As an organisation, we are concerned with people, their homes, and communities. We make good quality, affordable housing and services available to people in the local areas we serve, and work to extend opportunities and improve the neighbourhoods they live in.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Head of Governance, Risk & Assurance is a key member of our leadership team. You will develop and maintain an effective governance risk and controls framework ensuring that we comply with constitutional and regulatory requirements. A collaborative approach is important for this role as you will be providing advice and support to the Board, People & Governance Committee, and Executive Team.

With an ICSA or equivalent qualification, you will bring experience of successfully managing governance, risk management, assurance, and compliance in a regulated customer-facing service environment, an awareness of the challenges facing housing associations and their residents, and experience of working with executive teams, boards, and committees. You will also be an effective leader with good interpersonal skills and a positive β€œcan do” attitude.
