Orion is partnered with a very fast-paced, heavy industrial manufacturing business located in Worcester which is recruiting for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team.
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Duties:
- Work proactively to maintain and repair equipment across multiple areas of the production line.
- Maintain CNC machinery.
- Installation and commissioning of machinery.
- Continuous improvement projects.
- Promptly respond to breakdowns and planned maintenance work.
- Carry out routine maintenance of all production and foundry machinery.
- Fabrication.
- Fault finding.
- Work orders for breakdowns, PPMs, etc.
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Experience:
- Metal works experience.
- Machinery installation and commissioning experience.
- Continuous Improvement Project experience.
- Experience with heavy industrial machinery – CNC machines, etc.
- Electrical or mechanical qualifications – NVQ Level 3 is essential.
- PLC fault finding.
- Heavy industry experience.
- Ability to understand schematic drawings.
- Reliable and flexible attitude to work.
- Excellent communication skills.
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
- Salary: £37,260 + £3.50ph shift allowance.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
- Attendance allowance of £1000 per year.
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Shift:
- 5 & 2 shift pattern.
- Week 1: Monday - Tuesday on, Wednesday - Thursday off, Friday - Saturday on.
- Week 2: Monday - Tuesday off, Wednesday - Thursday on, Friday - Saturday - Sunday off.
- Hours - 41 per week (12hr day shifts).
