Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Control & Automation Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturer based in North Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all electrical and electronic control systems, including HMI and SCADA systems, are supported, maintained, developed, and improved as required.
- Have strong electrical fault-finding skills and be capable of responding to machinery breakdowns efficiently.
- Possess competent programming skills in PLCs, SCADA, HMI systems, and variable frequency drives.
- Be experienced in working with various network protocols such as Ethernet, Profinet, and Profibus.
- Have experience in Machinery Safety, including CE Marking, Machinery Directive, and British Standards.
- Exhibit strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, CAD, and MS Project.
- Hold a minimum HND qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
