Automation Engineer – Fintech (Remote)

Are you passionate about automation, monitoring, and optimising mission-critical environments? My client is looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join their team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in configuring monitoring solutions, implementing automation tools, and ensuring system reliability in a fast-paced, high-availability setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure monitoring solutions for 24×7 mission-critical environments.
• Implement and maintain automation tools using Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
• Develop and troubleshoot scripts using PowerShell, Perl, or Python.
• Work with monitoring protocols like SNMP, WMI, and more.
• Diagnose network issues using TCP/IP packet captures.
• Manage virtualized infrastructure (VMWare) and work across Linux and Windows environments.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Over three years of experience in a Tier II or Senior role in Technical Support, NOC, System, or Support Engineering.
• Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
• A proactive problem-solver with a strong focus on automation and efficiency.
