Job Description
A Niche Specialist Liability Adjusting Practice seeks to strengthen its Adjusting network through the appointment of an additional Liability Specialist to join their Liability/Casualty team.
- The role will be a technical hands-on role where you will handle a very varied mixed portfolio of EL and PL claims including third-party property damage risks.
- You will work with a variety of clients and a wide range of industries including, Construction, Engineering and the Lloyd's of London Market; no day will be the same.
- The role will also involve charging for time, training will be provided if this is something you haven't done previously.
- Training, support and full mentoring will be offered as there are genuine opportunities to progress and develop due to future expansion of the business.
About you:
- An experienced Casualty/Liability Desk Adjuster who has a passion and desire to progress to a Field Adjusting role.
- A background working for a Loss Adjusting practice in a similar role or for an Insurer within a Casualty/Liability Claims team or working within the Legal field managing Liability losses.
- Experienced at managing your own caseload of EL/PL losses with a hands-on approach and within a technical capacity.
- Ideally experienced working with the Lloyd’s of London Market but not essential.
- Exceptional People skills face to face, verbal and written
- Be able to handle difficult situations
- Happy to work remote.
- Be able to travel for one-to-one mentoring and training as and when required
- A full clean driving licence
- Industry qualifications preferred or a desire to work towards.
Salary & Benefits:
- up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience and background)
- £6,000 per annum car allowance
- Twice yearly bonus
- 30 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 6% pension
