Are you a Design Engineer who is proficient in SolidWorks, looking for a varied role within a well-established company, offering continual training and excellent progression opportunities? This company has seen continual growth since their establishment in 1912, specializing in manufacturing a range of machinery used in the textile industry, which is exported to a worldwide client base. They are market leaders within their industry and due to their future growth plans, they are looking to add a Design Engineer to their tight-knit team.

In this dynamic role, you will be office based, working amongst a team of 7 other Design Engineers. You will have an impact on product design and development as you create 3D Designs using SolidWorks and Inventor. As all of their machinery is manufactured onsite, you will have the opportunity to see your designs come to life as you liaise with the shop floor.

This role would suit a Design Engineer or similar, proficient in SolidWorks looking to join a specialist company, where they can establish their career for the long term, with opportunities to progress into senior management roles.

The Role:

  • Office based - 7:30am - 4pm (12pm finish on Fridays).
  • Using SolidWorks and Inventor to create 3D Designs.
  • Working closely with other members of the design team and the shop floor.

The Person:

  • Design Engineer or similar.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks.
  • Commutable to Huddersfield.
