About the role: Atmosphere is seeking a highly creative, ambitious, knowledgeable, and passionate Sports & News fan to curate, write, and produce video content for Atmosphere’s International Sports & News channels. The ideal candidate has strong writing and communication skills, with some experience in creating videos across various platforms. The candidate should be strong in ideation, storytelling and possess a passion for Sports & News. The Associate Producer will work across both of Atmosphere’s International Channels, focusing on News, Sports News, Trivia, and much more. A broad knowledge & understanding of Sports, News, culture, entertainment, and TV is a must. The schedule will include weekend work, with the role reporting to the Executive Producer, Sports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate, edit, write, and produce video and graphics news stories
  • Live, breathe, and sleep sports! Be a sports fanatic who can stay current with the latest updates and information in the ever-changing world of sports
  • Have a passion for World News and the ability to portray News in a neutral, non-biased manner
  • Work with the content team on ideation, creative projects, and execution
  • Work with the UK Leadership team on special projects as assigned
  • Constantly exhibit journalistic standards, practices, and discipline
  • Learn and follow Atmosphere’s Standard Operating Procedures
  • Work and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of professional social, digital, or TV experience (development, writing, editing, producing)
  • Proactive work ethic with a self-starter mentality
  • Experience with Adobe Suite: Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
  • Strong interest in Sports and News
  • A true team player and innovator who brings passion to the table
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Efficiency with Google Suite (i.e., Sheets, Docs)

  • The base salary range for this role is £44,000-46,000
  • Exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience. This role includes a 6-month probationary period.
