Talent Finance is partnering with a group of businesses near Poole that is looking for an experienced Financial Systems & Reporting Accountant to join their finance team on an initial 6-month FTC. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory accounts preparation, alongside experience working with financial systems. You’ll be supporting the upload of budgets and actuals, ensuring accuracy across multiple entities, and assisting with year-end reporting and audit processes. A solid understanding of statutory accounts preparation is essential, as you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial reporting team with the year-end reporting requirements; including financial statements and assisting with audit prep.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Assisting with statutory accounts preparation and audit support
  • Pulling and analysing P&L reports
  • Uploading budgets and actuals into reporting systems
  • Supporting a new system integration and troubleshooting

Who we’re looking for:

  • Ideally fully qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA - but can be flexible depending on experience
  • Strong statutory accounts preparation, reconciliation skills and financial reporting experience
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyse and present financial data
