Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing manufacturing business based in Wythenshawe, is looking for an FP&A Analyst to join their growing finance team as they continue to expand their operations. Working under an experienced FP&A Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity to continue developing within a thriving business.

The Role:

As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis function within the business. You will work closely with key stakeholders across operations, finance, and senior leadership to provide actionable insights that will drive the company’s financial performance and strategic objectives. Your analysis will support critical decision-making in areas such as cost management, profitability, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, focusing on performance against budget, forecast, and historical trends.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
  • Deliver accurate P&L figures and insightful analysis to drive decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to identify key cost drivers and areas of improvement.
  • Assist in preparing board-level presentations with detailed financial insights and recommendations.
  • Monitor and assess operational performance metrics, providing recommendations to improve profitability.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required by senior management.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
  • Proven experience in an FP&A position or commercial accounting role.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong ERP and system skills.
