This is a Senior Consultant role for a leading Net Zero Consultancy. You will be the account lead for manufacturing, retail, and financial services clients. You will lead the strategy and delivery of climate-related and net zero programmes.

Role responsibilities and requirements

• Leading and assisting commercial clients with climate disclosures (CDP, CSRD, TCFD/ISSB) and transition plans
• Providing strategic advice and services around climate-related needs such as GHG accounting, SBTi, and ESG
• Account and project management on time, within quality, and budget parameters
• Development and support around Net Zero services
• Business development, proposals, and bids with commercial clients

Key skills and qualities needed

• Relevant Science or Environmental Degree
• Strong project and team management experience
• Key account and business development experience
• Leadership on corporate net zero strategy and climate disclosures
• Leading and presenting workshops
• Managing bids and delivering proposals
• Advising clients on strategic Net Zero and climate-related risks and opportunities
• Completing (CDP, CSRD, TCFD/ISSB, SBTi, GHG) reporting submissions
• Excellent awareness of sustainability and carbon issues
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
