Head of Operations

BPE Search is partnering with a market-leading industrial manufacturing business to find an experienced Head of Operations to run their West Yorkshire facility.

This key role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring a safe and efficient environment, and enhancing overall business performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the operations team to exceed targets in productivity, cost control, customer service, and quality.
• Embedding a strong health, safety, and environmental compliance culture.
• Developing and fostering a customer-focused and continuous improvement mindset across all levels.
• Managing operational assets and ensuring machinery operates at optimum capability.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Overseeing budgets and resources to meet business objectives effectively.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in leading operations in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices, ideally with relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and manage operational budgets.
• Excellent leadership skills and experience managing teams to deliver high performance.
