Blue Arrow have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join their busy team based in Aberdeen on a temporary basis. During this role you will be supervising the projects that are currently underway. You will also meet the demands of production, profitability, safety, quality and manage all sub-contractors to ensure that pre-set completion targets are met. The successful candidate will also promote a positive working relationship between the project team and the client representatives.

Duties will include:

  • Liaise with the company's Project Quantity Surveyor.
  • Manage customer, clients and design team.
  • Develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments together with the Safety Plan and observe the requirement of the CDM Regulations in the status of Principle Contractor.
  • Provide leadership and support to Site Supervisors, management trainees, and support staff.
  • Source labour and maintain high productivity.
  • Expedite materials and information release from the design team.
  • Day to day planning of operations and problem solving.
  • Check and correct time sheets and allocation sheets.
  • Comply with the requirement of the company's Quality Procedure, Monitoring, Implementing & Recording.
  • Attend meetings as required at the site and area offices.
  • Prepare reports for site meetings with the design team.
  • Report contractual risk situations to your manager.
  • Supervise the quality of the work and hand over a snag free building.
  • All other duties as assigned to effectively carry out your role.

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience in the construction industry.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Health & Safety Awareness.
  • Valid white or black CSCS card.
  • SMSTS.
  • First Aid at work.
  • Healthcare/NHS experience.
