What is the role?
As Southampton Football Club’s Marketing & Social Media Executive, you will play a key role in the promotion of new spaces around St Mary's stadium. You will manage marketing campaigns, communications, and assets, supporting with promotions & events with a focus on The Dell and future new spaces around the stadium. You will also be responsible for the St Mary's Stadium Instagram channel and Facebook page, including content ideation, creation, posting & scheduling, and responding to messages and comments. The role will work closely with both the internal stakeholders and wider marketing teams to ensure that all are working together to hit commercial targets.
What will you be doing?
The role will involve working alongside the Marketing Manager and with other departments to create and deliver marketing campaigns. There will be a primary focus on the new spaces and the venue social media accounts but isn’t strictly limited to this. You will be passionate about what you do in order to drive revenue, engage with our fans and the general public, and build awareness by delivering campaigns using the most effective digital channels and continuously testing and learning the best approaches to succeed. Work will include the briefing, design management, production and activation of online and offline marketing materials across a range of different mediums. These assets must be delivered within strict time and budgetary constraints, to gain maximum effectiveness.
Is this you?
We are looking for someone with experience in a junior marketing role, educated to degree level or has equivalent work experience. The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of the marketing mix and have experience in content ideation and creation.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
